Foxey came to us as a two years old girl. We knew her from photographs and stories and when we learned that she lost her home, we promptly took this beautiful Fermata’s sister to us. Thank you, Lida and Vojtěch from Bistkupstwo, for her!!! Now Foxey is in co-ownershop with Bistkupstwo kennel. To share the joy of her with our friends is our way to say “thank you” to them.
Foxey has a perfect character. Very quickly she became accustomed to a busy household, children and cats, which she probably never seen before, she made friends with our dogs and thus fit into the pack, both human and dog’s. With Hatchepsut they are inseparable in the games, fighting for plush toys and running around the garden, she plays with Alpi and pulls him by the fur, and even Fermata has taken her presence unexpectedly easy. As a real borzoi, Foxey is very decent and does not bother us, just for a few minutes of cuddling several times a day. She lays on the sofa and watches the house or sleeps in front of the fireplace. Her presence would often not even be noticeable, but for food disappearing from the table. Our new yellow girl is the incredible eater, eats whatever we give her, and when we don’t watch it, she eats cakes from a plate of food on the table. Otherwise she is a very nice girl and our little sweetheart. Foxey is rather smaller, elegant and very fine girl of very feminine lines, with a beautiful head and a very good hair. She has complete and correct teeth and bite, very good pigment and beautiful light movement like her mother.
We didn’t know, what she will say to shows. But she surprised us totally – with her balanced, outstanding nature she has absolved her first show as a professional! And it was not all! On her first show she got CAC and CACIB and second day she got CAC again on Club show, both in strong competition. This was only three month after he arrival to us, when she didn’t know collar, leash, she was not accustomed to people, children, cats, town, show ring… nothing. She is our rising star!

Hatynka is our youngest Borzoi. We liked her very much from her birth and we agreed immediately, when we got an offer from friends Lida and Vojta Zapletalovi to take her in the co-ownership. Our male-dog Alpi loved her from the very beginning and he is her loyal protector, partner in games and carer. Hatynka is very clever, skillfull and self-confident. She is not afraid of anything and goes into everything as a dragon. Its relationship to life, it is a great passion. She loves attention and when she thinks that she has not enough of it, she loudly “speaks” about it. She loves food and it is very hard to keep her at an acceptable weight. On the walks she is following her beloved friend Alpi (usually holding his ear), so it is mostly easy to call her back. For something to eat she will do anything, she, indeed, like all the borzoi is very obedient and quickly understanding, if she has sufficient motivation. Although she is a typical angel with a devil in the heart, she is really very gentle in contact with children and kittens – in this cases she shows her loving and caring nature. None of our borzois is so big caregiver in washing ears, noses, mouths and all like her. When the kittens were born, she stayed with them for hours, watching them and gently caring for them. Today, still occasionally they lay together with the cat in her arms.
Hatynka is not a tall girl, but she has a strong, healthy frame and wonderfully deep chest, energetic movement and excellent pigment, which nicely reflects in her white hair. Her hair is something incomprehensible to me, I haven’t seen such type yet, even if shedded, she has more hair than some males. In one year – just after shedding – she looks like a polar bear with a huge collar. Her show results are nice – some judges are excited about her, those, who prefer tall, skinny types, less. But it is normal, even though Borzoi has not embedded in various types of standards, one can see very different animals in one show ring.
We are very satisfied with our crazy Hatchepsut and she makes us a great joy.
In 2011 she finisher her coursing licence and started her coursing runs with resCACIL.

Mátka byla prvním barzojem v naší rodině.
Je to to nejlaskavější zvíře, jaké jsme kdy mohli potkat. Miluje ji každý, kdo ji zná, pro její láskyplnou, jemnou a nevtíravou povahu.
Doma nejraději odpočívá na gauči, který střídá s křeslem, ale jakmile se nosí na stůl, hlásí se o svůj podíl a klade nám hlavu dojemně na klín, aby vymámila nějaké to „lidské“ jídlo, které zbožňuje. Žádný z našich psů neumí udělat tak smutné oči, žádný nedokáže takovou dobu trpělivě stát a čekat, až dostane, co chce.
Mátka je typ, který se nerad hádá, a tak ve psích sporech spíš ustupuje, ale když jde o něco, na čem jí záleží, dokáže ukázat zuby a zavrčet a od oblíbeného pamlsku se rozhodně vyhodit nenechá. Když se jí nějaký pes příliš vnucuje nebo obtěžuje, decentně, ale rázně ho pošle pryč.
Je typickým barzojem jak díky své zdrženlivé, tiché, ale milující nátuře, ale hlavně díky obrovské vášni pro běh a lov. Doma je to ospalec, ale venku se promění v úplně jiné zvíře. Neunikne jí žádný pohyb v okolních polích a nejšťastnější je, když cvakne karabinka na obojku a ona se může šílenou rychlostí rozběhnout krajinou. Stačí jí jen pošeptat: „Tak běž…“ a vidíme už jen vzdalující se bílý konec ocasu.
Mátka je velmi elegantní fenka, má nádhernou štíhlou hlavu, kompletní korektní chrup i skus, výborné linie a krásný lehký pohyb. V půl roce bohužel utrpěla při hře se psem vážný úraz, který jí na dva dlouhé měsíce znemožnil téměř pohyb. Podepsalo se to na její fyzické konstituci, takže její výstavní kariéru jsme přerušili. Podle výsledků nedávných vyšetření na rentgenu a CT na veterinární klinice v Mimoni jsou Mátčina dávná zranění výborně zhojená a všechny kosti narostlé správně a rovně. Za zásadní nedostatek bylo označeno pouze velmi nedostatečné osvalení v inkriminovaných partiích. V současnosti máme tedy naději, že výživnou stravou a intenzivním pohybem bude možno dostat Mátku do potřebné kondice.
Bez ohledu na cokoliv ale Mátka je a bude vždy tím nejúžasnějším tvorem, jakého jsme kdy potkali.
V roce 20011 Mátka dokončila courssingovou licenci a začala běhat oficiální závody. Zatím se jen rozkoukává, ale věříme, že se chytí.
